Nineteen seventy nine
Was once to us divine
We say it was yours and mine
A time when friendship begins to twine

We were then boys not men
Always sharing where and when
Our joys has no end
Our sorrows often confined

Boys of courage boys of daring
Brought us together when we sing
Our spirits never fainting
Our hopes always growing

Reminiscing the times we shared
Remembering how we played
Never too long were those memories
Never too many were our worries

Where were the years we relished
And forgotten friends that perished
A friendship we once cherished
Strong and never once tarnished

We are now men with impairs
Some with wrinkles and grey hairs
We are no longer alone but with pairs
All are not without flairs

That friendship we once share
Begs our time and care
Should we become despair
Our friendship is there to spare
